Recap: Khaleel Majid Defeats Alessandro Fersula in a 78-73 Point Reign

Last Saturday, we saw victory run its course for upcoming Super Lightweight Boxing star Khaleel Majid, 26, who gained his 11th consecutive win against Rome-born boxer Alessandro Fersula, 30.

This would be the first time that Majid (AKA the ‘Major) would go the full 8-round distance, sending his Italian-born opponent to the canvas with his actioned packed two jab - two uppercut combo - in what had been a trailblazing start to the first round.

Khaleel Majid’s win, all housed in Birmingham's very own Utilita stadium and live to millions on DAZN, would be his first victory after inking a deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing in April. The Major now levels up to an 11-0, 3 KOs record, leaving Alessandro Fersula with his second defeat in a row.

That is not all we are yet to see from the rising prospect as he is scheduled to make his return to the ropes on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, as supporting cast for 30-year-old Jack Catterall who will be facing Venezuelan boxer Jorge Linares.

As one of Crep Protect’s brand ambassadors, we congratulate Khaleel on this important milestone in his career and are excited to see him step into the ring once again in October.
